This November, THK’s project in Sayan is on it’s way to completion. This bamboo structure has a waterway around it for aquaculture which will be fed by a rainwater catchment system.
The usual raised and mulched vegetable beds are donut-shaped. With the addition of a terracotta container housing a worm colony, the nutrients will leach back into the soil everytime it rains. All weeds and organic material will go directly into this to be broken down by the worms! An efficient, practical solution!
